The main national hospital system, also known as Riksen. It is also the location of Nasjonal behandlingstjeneste for kjønnsinkongruens (NBTK), the primary gatekeepers of healthcare for trans people in Norway. NBTK is headed by an actual TERF Anne Wæhre who has been implicated in unethical research against trans people and is a proud member of the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine (SEGM), which is an organization that opposes gender-affirming care for transgender youth, among other bad stances.

NBTK is the only organization in Norway that is (de facto) allowed to give out the ICD10 F64 Gender identity disorders diagnosis, which is required to receive any medicine on blå resept. They also provide hair removal (limited in scope and method), breast augmentation, and vaginoplasty.
